Meet Las Vegas Tattoo Artist Rick Trip
nRick Trip is the owner and head tattoo artist of Trip Ink Tattoo Company, located at the front entrance to Hot Rod City, at 5115 Dean Martin Drive #906, here in Las Vegas, Nevada.
He’s widely known as one of the most versatile tattoo artists around, with his knowledge of high contrast black and grey, bold color and many other different tattoo styles being one of his most favorable traits throughout Vegas as well as throughout the West Coast. He also involves himself in the local music and movie industries out here, and also in a lot of the local artist functions and charities in the Vegas Valley.
His future ambitions include expanding Trip Ink Tattoo Company into a tattoo shop business that is widely known not just throughout Vegas and the West Coast, but also throughout the rest of the world.
When it comes to some of the celebrities and rock stars that he tattoos, there are quite a few, including Jeremy Spencer, Jason Hook, Chris Kael and Ivan Moody of Five Finger Death Punch. Rick also loves to travel the tattoo convention circuits, which is pretty expansive considering all of the conventions that occur here in the US, as well as throughout the rest of the world.
He’s worked (and still works at times) alongside such world class tattoo artists such as Cleen Rock One, Carl Grace, Daniel Rocha, Jeff Parkway, Derek Rubright, Christian Buckingham, Troy Harless… so many to name, but these are just a few of the artists that have either worked at varies tattoo shops or conventions alongside with him. In total, he’s tattooed a total of close to 20 years, and he’s not even near ready to set his machine down and retire.
He also loves to paint and draw and he’s a collector of not just beautiful art to hang up on his tattoo shop walls, but also a collector of tattoos himself, from various tattoo artists from all over the world. With all of this said, he’s quite the amazing guy! Business driven, an art lover and a man that is definitely an asset to the tattoo and entertainment industry not just in Vegas, but all throughout.
